Cora-Marina Iordache is a versatile German-Tunisian violinist who regularly performs across the UK, Europe, and Asia as a sought-after soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Her versatility and dynamic artistry have established her as a highly regarded musician across a wide range of settings, from symphonic and operatic productions to chamber music collaborations and ballet performances.

In 2024, her duo recording featuring the works of Joseph Sonnabend was released on Divine Arts Records to critical acclaim, reflecting her deep commitment to exploring and championing a diverse and distinctive repertoire. As a regular freelancer with major orchestras in London, Cora-Marina collaborates with esteemed ensembles including the Royal Opera House Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, English National Ballet, BBC Concert Orchestra, Opera North, and the London Handel Players. Her chamber music engagements have taken her to renowned festivals and concert halls worldwide. She has worked under the baton of internationally celebrated conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Antonio Pappano, Jakub Hrůša, Sir Mark Elder, Dan Ettinger, Antonello Manacorda, Alexander Soddy, Paavo Järvi, Sakari Oramo, Giacomo Sagripanti, Alondra de la Parra, Speranza Scappucci, Nicola Luisotti, and Daniele Rustioni.

Cora-Marina began her musical journey at the age of four, studying the violin under the guidance of Jorge Sutil, a member of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. She continued her education at the Mozarteum University Salzburg under the esteemed pedagogue Prof. Igor Ozim, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree and was awarded the prestigious Paul Hindemith Prize for her achievements in chamber music.

She further honed her artistry at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she completed both a Master of Music and a Master of Performance under Prof. Krzysztof Smietana, followed by the highly regarded Artist Diploma under his mentorship.

As the creator and principal founder of Orbis Musicus, Cora-Marina conceived the platform as a natural extension of her commitment to supporting the next generation of musicians and rethinking how high-level musical training can be experienced. Bringing together a carefully curated network of leading artists and pedagogues, she continues to shape its artistic and organisational direction, creating a space that prioritises personal connection, artistic depth, and meaningful exchange between musicians. Through this work, she helps to create a setting in which young artists can grow both musically and personally, while reflecting her broader commitment to making classical music more accessible, open, and relevant in today’s world.
